January 27, 2006, Newsletter Issue #90: Easy Bread Without Yeast

Tip of the Week

Many people who adhere to yeast free diets opt to make their own breads. When a lot of people think of making homemade bread they think of a long process that takes a good deal of time. The truth is, however, that yeast free bread can be made easily in under an hour. Just follow the simple recipe below: 2 1/2 cups self-rising flour 3 tablespoons white sugar 1 12 ounce can of carbonated lemon-lime soda

To begin, preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan. Next, Combine the flour, sugar and soda. Put the mixture in the greased pan. Bake the mixture for 45 minutes.

*If the soda you use contains sugar, lessen the amount of sugar used in the recipe.
