Interestingly, the study also found that vegetarians who eat plenty of tomatoes and tomato products reap many benefits, such as a reduced risk of prostate cancer. The study also confirmed, again, the huge benefits that can be gained by drinking lots of water.
The study found that eating nuts 5 times a week significantly reduces the risk of fatal coronary heart disease and fatal heart attacks. Similar findings exist on eating whole wheat vs. white bread.
