My favorite TVP recipe (Quick and Easy):
Sloppy Bobs
Pour 1 cup boiling water over 1 cup TVP and let soak for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, saute 1/2 cup onion, 1 clove garlic, and 1/2 cup green pepper. Add TVP, 1 tablespoon chili powder, 1 cup prepared barbecue sauce and 1 8 oz can tomato sauce. Simmer to combine flavors (about 5 minutes). Serve over whole wheat hamburger buns.

I agree! It tastes the best as a meat substitute for Sloppy Joes.
